Once a semester Cross Creek Programs offers a pottery class. The class is taught by a local artist who displays and sells her artwork in several arts and crafts shows around the state. She also works at the program. Each student has an opportunity to learn principles of pottery and creative art. Pottery class is offered once a week. The end of the semester the class of students create their own artwork of pottery and display it at the Washington County Fair.
Every week students get together with their instructor to learn old and new steps to country music. This offers a fun and physical activity for the students interested in performing line dancing at several events around the area. This group of students also performs at the Parent Child seminars and the annual Peach Days festival in August. Besides line dancing the students are taught different cultural dance routines from around the world. There is no size limit to the class, but once a student signs up to learn, he/she is expected to stay committed.
Cross Creek music program offers an excellent opportunity for learning techniques for singing in a small choir. The choir practices once or twice a week depending on upcoming performances. Cross Creek Choir learns choral reading and balanced sound. Some students have an opportunity to sing solo parts or in smaller groups. The Choir performs at The Peach Days Festival in Hurricane, Utah every year. They entertain local Nursing Homes and shoppers at the local shopping mall during Christmas Holidays.
